We are currently looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, customer-service driven individual to join our Golf Shop Team! This is a part-time seasonal position starting in April and finishing near the end of September.

About us

We aren't your typical public golf course! We are also a wedding facility, a restaurant, and the go-to place in Langley to host charity golf tournaments. Every day is something different and exciting!

Perks and Benefits

This part-time, seasonal position begins in April and includes the following:

• Hourly wage of $17.50
• Golf benefits

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Reliably opening and/or closing the Golf Shop
• Greeting and assisting guests prior to and following their round of golf
• Being knowledgeable about the golf course facilities as well as all products and merchandise available in the golf shop
• Making sales for green fees, driving range, merchandise, clubs and rentals while following proper cash handling procedures
• Offering professional, engaging and friendly customer service
• Assisting with the course pace of play and golf etiquette as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

• Must have outstanding customer service skills
• Must be proficient and adaptable to different computer programs and POS systems
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team oriented

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf is required
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
• Previous experience at another golf course is an asset
• Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required
• Valid First Aid Level 1, CPR, and AED Certification, or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employment
