We are searching for a qualified, experienced, reliable individual to join our Team as a Head Golf Course Mechanic! This position quite literally keeps everything running smoothly around the Redwoods! This is a full time, permanent position working in a one-map shop that starts immediately!

The right candidate will be the sole person responsible for the entire fleet of golf carts as well as the entire fleet of maintenance equipment such as mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, weed whackers, blowers etc. Ideally, the right candidate would have a minimum of 5 years experience as a mechanic. 

Responsibilities:

• Servicing our fleet of golf carts annually
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing all small gas and diesel engines
• Executing electrical and hydraulic repairs
• Overseeing a preventative maintenance program for both our golf cart and course maintenance equipment fleets
• Ordering all necessary parts for repair and inventory
• Completing accurate record keeping of all parts, purchases, and work orders
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• Following all company policies regarding use of personal protective equipment and safe working procedures

Qualifications & Assets:

• Must have 5+ years of mechanical experience
• Must be proficient in electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
• Must have experience in small engine repair
• Experience in repairing golf course equipment is an asset
• Experience in the sharpening, repair, and maintenance of reels and bedknives on specialized golf course mowing equipment is an asset
• Must have a valid BC Driver's License
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
