2012 CAMP REDWOODS The 2012 CAMP REDWOODS Junior Instructional program for golfers ages 4-18 kicks off Tuesday March 13th. These programs are offered in three levels. We offer weekly sessions during the Spring and Fall as well as week long camps during Spring Break and Summer Vacation. All Programs are lead by our Canadian PGA Teaching Staff
Level 1 offers an introduction to golf fundamentals in a four lesson format focusing on swings with irons and woods paired with both putting and chipping. The emphasis is on safety, etiquette and most importantly, fun!
Level 2 comprises eight hours of instruction focused on improving each players knowledge of the golf swing and lowering scores through improvements to their short game technique. REGISTRATION Registration for our Level 1 programs are booked through the Langley Township Parks & Rec Department. SKILLS TESTING
Please be aware that players wishing to advance to the next level of instruction are required to demonstrate the skills learned at each level. Skill testing covers the four disciplines taught in the Level 1 & Level 2 Instruction Programs (Putting, Chipping, Swinging Irons, Swinging Woods) and the five disciplines taught in Level 3 Instruction Program (Putting, Chipping, Bunker Play Swinging Irons, Swinging Woods) The Level 1 testing dates are listed on the Level 1 brochure and the Level 2 and Level 3 are listed on the Level 2-3 Brochure. Please contact our Junior Program Coordinator, Associate Professional Doug Morgan at golf.pro@shaw.ca Please provide a minimum of 72 hours in advance for your desired Skill Testing date. |
